“Technology should not be considered, in itself, as a force antagonistic to humanity. On the contrary, it has formed part of our history since the beginning as a profoundly human reality, linked to the autonomy and freedom of man.”
— His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas

I want to talk to you today not just as Chairman of the Magnificent Humanity Foundation, but as a mother.

Because when I think about artificial intelligence, I mean really think about it, I don't think about algorithms or data centers. I think about my beloved children Vivienne and Turner. I think about the world they'll inherit, and whether it will still have room in it for human dignity, human connection, human *magnificence*.

That's not just my worry. It's every parent's worry. Every grandparent's. Every person who has ever looked at a child and felt responsible for the future they're walking into.

The Magnificent Humanity Foundation exists because of that responsibility. We're a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3), and we're answering a call — His Holiness Pope Leo XIV's call in *Magnifica Humanitas*: to safeguard the human person in the age of artificial intelligence.

We believe AI can do something remarkable: it can help illuminate the magnificent humanity already inside each person, rather than replace or diminish it. That's our vision: a world where AI uplifts human dignity and fosters human flourishing, not one where technology moves faster than our wisdom to guide it.

To get there, we build bridges between faith leaders and business leaders, between academics and policymakers, between people who don't usually sit at the same table. We convene them around specific, measurable Commitments to Impact, and we move fast, together, to create shared prosperity.

Because this isn't abstract for me. This is personal. It's personal for my children, and it's personal for yours. Every child deserves a future built with intention, a future of opportunity and abundance, not one they simply inherit by accident.

That's what we're building. And that's why I'm asking you to build it with us."
