In order to achieve our goal of addressing forced displacement by empowering one million vulnerable families s by 2021, we are securing new, specific, measurable and accountable Commitments to Impact. Several commitments leverage new resources through cross-sector partnerships, with commitment-makers combining efforts to expand their impact.

Laudato si’ Challenge Commitments to Impact must fulfill four key criteria:

NEW

A LSC commitment must be a new initiative that directly addresses the crisis of forced displacement. Ongoing work is not eligible, but an expansion of a successful program with key new elements does qualify as a valid Commitment to Impact.

SPECIFIC

A LSC commitment must outline a specific approach to a problem, have clear and feasible objectives to be accomplished within a defined period of time, and articulate the desired outcome of the effort.

MEASURABLE

A LSC commitment must have specific quantitative goals that can be monitored by the commitment maker to evaluate progress over time.

ACCOUNTABLE

A LSC commitment must track quantitative and qualitative progress and report bi-annually to The Laudato si’ Challenge to show the extent of the Commitment’s impact.
